Hands down, this is the BEST Chinese place around! In the 15 years I’ve lived in Florida, this is the only Chinese restaurant I’ll eat at. Big portions, fresh hot food, and great prices. My friends, family, and I have never been disappointed. They always get your order exactly right, and the food and customer service go above and beyond. One time I was visiting my mom and she wanted Chinese, so I drove 45 minutes just to get her China Garden on 10th St. I’m so glad I live only 10 minutes away. They never disappoint! Highly recommend! ❤️

I got orange chicken lunch special to go today. I didn't expect so much since the price is reasonable. It was a good surprise. The chicken tasted good, and the portion was big. It was really cooked well (not frozen microwave kind) and the quality was so much better than I expected. They really use orange peels (or orange pieces) for orange chicken. Authentic! In these days, I tried different places in different cities and states for chickens, and most of them were frozen yucky microwave chickens even at some hotels or popular places in big cities. They were not cheap either. I always feel like that I wasted money for such crappy food. I can't cook much while I travel. I usually don't do reviews, but I felt this place deserves 5 Stars. I'll go back there again if I come to Sarasota.

Absolutely amazing. The food was piping hot, fresh, and SO flavorful. You can tell everything was made to order — nothing tasted like it had been sitting around. The portions were HUGE (like two-meals-from-one-plate huge). The fried rice was perfectly seasoned, the lo mein was packed with flavor and not greasy, and the broccoli and chicken were cooked just right — tender with a nice bite. The crab rangoons were crispy and stuffed, and the egg roll was golden and crunchy. Even the sauces tasted fresh. Everything was hot when I opened it and stayed hot while eating, which honestly makes such a difference. You definitely get your money’s worth here. Will 100% be back. 🔥🥡❤️

Very disappointed with China Garden. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and never had an issue until yesterday. I ordered house fried rice with shrimp and vegetables and a shrimp egg roll. When I got to work, I realized the egg roll was missing. I called right away, and the employee was kind and told me it would be noted so I could get it next time. Later that evening, when I went to eat, I discovered the main item—the large container of house fried rice—was also missing. That’s when things went downhill. When the manager, FiFi, called me back, she immediately accused me of lying and insisted both items were put in the bag. She was rude, dismissive, and wouldn’t let me explain. I’ve been a regular customer for years and have no reason to lie over missing food. When I asked for a credit for my $26 order, she told me to bring it in, said “we’ll discuss it then,” and hung up on me. She then hung up on me again when I called back to get her name. Mistakes happen. Missing food is frustrating but understandable. Being accused of lying, treated disrespectfully, and hung up on by a manager is unacceptable. This experience completely changed my opinion of this restaurant.
